Racing Point driver Lance Stroll will be targeting his first win of the 2020 season at the Tuscan Grand Prix title on September 13.

The Canadian driver scored his second podium, matching his previous best finishing position of third at last weekend's Italian Grand Prix.

Stroll achieved his first podium finish at the 2017 Azerbaijan Grand Prix, becoming the second-youngest driver to finish an F1 race on the podium.

Scuderia AlphaTauri driver Pierre Gasly, who hails from France, took his maiden Formula One win at this year's Italian Grand Prix.

While McLaren driver Carlos Sainz Jr finished second and it was also the Spanish star's second podium finish.

Stroll is now placed fourth on the World Drivers' Championship standings having accumulated 57 points from eight races.

Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton is sitting at the top of the standings and he is followed by his teammate Valtteri Bottas and Max Verstappen of Red Bull respectively.

Stroll reflected on his performance at the recent Italian Grand Prix and he feels that he let a first Formula One win slip through his fingers

"It is a bit of a bummer. I think it was kind of mine to lose starting from second, but I just had no grip at the start," Stroll said.

"I had a ton of wheelspin and everyone flew by me. I had a good scrap with Carlos [Sainz Jr] on the first couple of laps.

"And I overtook around the outside, but he got me again down into Turn 1. We were battling out there, so I am happy to pick up third," he added.

"I think the win slipped away from us today, but third is great."

Mercedes are placed at the top of Constructors' standings followed by second-placed Red Bull and third-placed McLaren-Renault.
