Shakhtar Donetsk will welcome VFL Wolfsburg in the Round of 16
UEFA Europa League second-leg match at the Olympic Stadium on 05 August 2020.
The Ukrainian champions secured an impressive 2-1 win over Wolfsburg in the first-leg game which was played on 12 March 2020.
The victory extended Shakhtar's unbeaten run to three matches in the Europa League having recorded two wins and one draw.
They are also unbeaten run in their last two matches at home in the competition having recorded one draw and one win.
Luis Castro, the Shakhtar manager, has urged his troops to treat their opponents, Wolfsburg with respect.
"First of all, we are thinking about the encounter with Wolfsburg, not forgetting our major goal - the opportunity to get to the final," Castro said.
"But we shouldn’t need to think about that now. It’s necessary for us to treat Wolfsburg very respectfully and understand that they are a competent team."
Meanwhile, Wolfsburg will be hoping to surprise the hosts, Shakhtar and secure their place in the quarter-finals of Europe's secondary club football tournament.
The German outfit saw their four-match unbeaten run in the Europa League come to an end when they lost to Shakhtar in the first-leg match.
However, they are undefeated in their last nine away matches in the tournament having recorded four draws and five victories as the visitors.
This will be the second competitive meeting between Shakhtar and Wolfsburg following their match in Germany.
