Zambia will be seeking their fifth win on the spin when they lock horns with Comoros in their final
2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at the Stade Omnisports de Malouzini on Saturday, September 9.
The encounter in Moroni is effectively a dead rubber after the Copper Bullets beat Ivory Coast 3-0 on June 17 to open up a six-point gap to the Coelacanths, who had lost 2-0 to the Elephants on March 28.
Avram Grant's side qualified for the biennial tournament in the process after missing out on the previous three editions. It was also their fourth consecutive win in Group A since suffering a 3-1 defeat to the AFCON 2023 hosts on matchday 1.

Grant is pleased to see that he's still on course to win every match, having set himself that target following his appointment as head coach in December 2022.
"I am very happy with the fighting spirit of the team," he said. "I told you when I came, our target is to win every game. Our target is to try and win every game."
Comoros will be looking to finish their failed qualifying campaign on a high after back-to-back defeats against Ivory Coast ended their dream of making it to the showpiece for the second time in a row.
The Coelacanths managed to beat Lesotho both home and away and they have a chance to spoil Grant's perfect record when Chipolopolo arrive on the island's capital.
Younes Zerdouk was part of Amir Abdou's backroom staff when the tiny island nation reached the round of 16 at AFCON 2021 on their debut and succeeded the Frenchman as head coach in March 2022.
Zerdouk has challenged his players to take the fight to Zambia as he wants to match the tally gained during their successful campaign to qualify for the 2021 edition in Cameroon.
"We aim to finish with nine points and match our previous campaign in terms of number of points. That would already be important," he said.
