AS Roma will battle with UC Sampdoria in a Serie A match at the Stadio Olimpico on January 3.
The Yellow and Reds secured a 3-2 win over Cagliari in their previous league match which was played on December 23.
It was Roma's third win in their last four matches, while the other game ended in a defeat to Atalanta.

Roma are unbeaten in their last 11 home matches in Serie A having recorded three draws and eight victories.
Paulo Fonseca, the Roma manager, reflected on their win over Cagliari and he is pleased to see his side finish the year in the top three in Serie A.
“I’m satisfied, it was important to win today," Fonseca said.
"There are no easy games and this game was another example of that. We had to fight until the very end to get the three points.
“It’s a positive first half of the season, we finish 2020 in third. Perhaps a lot of people did not think that was possible, but the team has always believed in what it can do – even after tough moments."
Meanwhile, Sampdoria succumbed to a 3-2 defeat to Sassuolo at home in their previous league match which was played December 23.
Prior to the clash with Sassuolo, La Samp were undefeated in two matches in this competition having recorded two successive wins.
Sampdoria defeated Hellas Verona in their last away game in Serie A and the win ended their three-match winless run on the road.
The last meeting between Roma and Sampdoria in a league game was on 24 June 2020. Roma ran out 2-1 winners over Sampdoria in a match which was played at the Stadio Olimpico.
