Kick-Off is at 21h00

Paris Saint Germain (PSG) will be seeking revenge when they face Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League semi-final second-leg game on May 4.

The French champions let a lead slip their 2-1 defeat to City in the first-leg encounter which was played on April 28.

PSG will be looking to qualify for the Champions League final for the second time in the club's history when they take on the former English champions.

A draw will see PSG bow out of the tournament, but they will advance to the final if they win by a two-goal margin or more in England.

PSG's previous semi-final tie in the Champions League was against RB Leipzig during the 2019/20 season.

The Parisians emerged 3-0 winners, but PSG went on to lose to Leipzig's German rivals Bayern Munich in the final.

PSG will look to Neymar, who is one of the best players in the world, and he has the ability to single-handedly inspire the Parisians to a win in Manchester.

Mauricio Pochettino, the PSG manager, believes his side can overturn the deficit and qualify for the final.

"We’re very disappointed with the two goals. It’s difficult to accept that this happened in the semi-final – it’s really painful," Pochettino said.

"In the second half they were more consistent. It was difficult for us to cope. Physically they were a little bit more aggressive. It was difficult for us to recover the ball."

"In football you need to believe. We go there in six days and will try to win and score goals. Of course we are under a little bit of pressure, but in football you need to try."

The last time City hosted PSG in a competitive match was on 12 April 2016.

City emerged 1-0 winners in the Champions League quarter-final second-leg match at the Etihad Stadium.
