The
2023 Indonesian MotoGP will be staged at the Mandalika International Street Circuit in Central Lombok on October 15.
What to know about the Indonesian MotoGP
There have been three Grand Prix events held in Indonesia with the first two taking place in 1996 and 1997, both at the Sentul International Circuit in Bogor, West Java.
In 2022, the Indonesian race made its return to the MotoGP calendar and it took place at the Mandalika International Street Circuit.
Mandalika International Street Circuit is claimed to be a street circuit as parts may be used in the future, allowing normal traffic access to new resort facilities.

The Japanese MotoGP which was the 14th round of the 2023 MotoGP World Championship season took place on 1 October.
The race was won by Ducati rider Jorge Martin while his teammate Francesco Bagnaia and Marc Marquez of Honda finished second and third respectively.

Standings
Bagnaia is still placed at the top of riders' standings followed by Martin, Ducati's Marco Bezzecchi and KTM rider Brad Binder respectively with six races left.
Looking at the constructors' standings, Ducati, who are the favourites to win the title, are sitting at the top - followed by KTM and Aprilia respectively.

“It feels great to return to the podium after so long away, and to do it here in Motegi, at Honda’s home, with so many fans and people from Honda here, honestly it is quite romantic," Marquez said after the recent Japanese MotoGP.
"In the race it was all about understanding the wet tyres once we switched over, at the start it was quite dry so it was important to be careful to not destroy the tyre. I stayed calm and when I saw there was more water on track, I began to attack.
"I was feeling really good with my pace and I think we could have had an interesting end to the race, but ultimately Race Direction did a really good job and they made the right call at the right time," he added.
"I want to say thank you to them and of course all of the Repsol Honda Team as well, days like today have many factors at play and my team worked really well to handle everything. This podium is what we have been looking for all year and it’s a nice boost for the last push in 2023.”
