Aston Martin's Fernando Alonso will welcome the cooler conditions at the
United States Grand Prix on Sunday, October 22 after his struggles in the Qatar Grand Prix.
The drivers had to battle extreme temperatures in Lusail on race day as the heat and humidity took its toll on many of them, with Alonso suffering a "semi-burn" on his right side.
Aston Martin team-mate Lance Stroll passed out in his car, Alpine's Esteban Ocon got sick inside his helmet, Williams' Alex Albon required medical attention for excessive heat exposure, while team-mate Logan Sargeant was forced to retire.

Alonso asked his team over the radio if they could pour water over his burn during the pit stop, but F1 rules prevented them from doing so and he had to endure the discomfort for the remainder of race, eventually finishing in P6.
It was the Spaniard's best result since his second-placed finish in the Dutch Grand Prix and saw him close the gap to Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton to 11 points after the Brit crashed out on the opening lap.
The 42-year-old felt a lot of the issues could have been avoided if the race had been moved to later in the day when it wouldn't have been nearly as hot.

"I think for Lance and myself, both of us, we were struggling a little bit with temperature in the seat on the right-hand side," Alonso revealed.
"I got like burned in the first 15 laps so I even asked on the radio if they could throw me some water or something at the pit stop, which apparently is not allowed.
"I didn't feel perfectly okay in the car but then some of my colleagues were struggling so it was probably on the limit.
"It was a surprise, to be honest, because it was not that bad in free practice. Maybe it was windy or something and today we missed that wind or something, that ventilation.
"It was extreme. We need to see if in the future there is any solution, and in some extreme conditions we can agree on delaying the start or whatever."
