Matchday 11

AC Milan v Udinese Calcio

Stadio Giuseppe Meazza
Milan, Italy
Saturday, 4 November 2023
Kick-off is at 21h45

AC Milan will face off with Udinese Calcio in a Serie A match at the iconic Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on 4 November.

Current Form

Milan are now winless in their last two matches in the league having drawn 2-2 with champions SSC Napoli away on 29 October.

Rossoneri lost to Juventus FC in their last home match in this competition and the defeat ended their 12-match unbeaten run at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

Meanwhile, Udinese extended their winless run to 14 matches in Serie A when they played out to a 1-1 draw with AC Monza away on 29 October.

The Little Zebras are also winless in their last 10 matches on the road in the league having registered four draws and six defeats as the away side.

Team News

Milan will be without the suspended Malick Thiaw while Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Samuel Chukwueze, Ismaël Bennacer, Mattia Caldara, Pierre Kalulu and Marco Sportiello are all out injured.

On the other hand, Udinese have some of the longest injury lists in Serie A at the moment, but they don't have suspension worries.

Gerard Deulofeu, Enzo Ebosse, Kingsley Ehizibue, Brenner, Vivaldo Semedo, Keinan Davis and Thomas Kristensen are all out injured.

Quotes

“If we had lost this game too, then it would’ve been an extremely unlucky period," Milan manager Stefano Pioli said after the draw against Napoli.

"I think the big mistake was conceding their first goal, as it allowed Napoli mentally back into the game that until then we were in control of.

“It’s true we scored two goals, but considering everything we created today, once again we only converted a very small percentage of the opportunities. We have to do better.

Head-to-Head

Udinese emerged as 3-1 winners over Milan in their last meeting in Serie A which was on 18 March 2023 at the Dacia Arena.

The win ended the Little Zebras' six-match winless run in the league against Rossoneri who had recorded three wins and three draws.
