Robert Streb will be determined to continue his dominance in the
RSM Classic by winning the tournament for the third time.
The American star remains the most decorated golfer in the history of the competition having won it in 2014 and 2020.
Streb earned his first PGA Tour win in 2014 and this tournament was still known as the McGladrey Classic at the time.
The 35-year-old was crowned champion after he birdied the second extra hole to beat Brendon de Jonge and Will MacKenzie in a playoff.
Streb then endured a six-year trophy drought before he won in a playoff over Kevin Kisner at the 2020 RSM Classic, giving him his second PGA Tour victory.
His best performance in a major golf tournament came at the 2016 PGA Championship as fired a second round 63 to tie the best round in a major.
Streb joined Jimmy Walker as the 36-hole leader in the event, with a 9 under par total and carded a two-over-par 72 during the third round, and ultimately, finished the tournament tied for seventh.

Asked why he tends to perform well at the Sea Island Golf Club, Streb said; “I don't have a good answer for you.
“My finishes here are all over the lot, but I do like it here. The greens are always pure, and I feel like if you're playing well, you can do well.”
“It’s nice to get another one knocked off. Kiz [Kisner] played a great round today, and I just snuck one in there on 17," he added.
"Felt pretty fortunate to get in the playoff the way things were kind of running there at the end, so it was really nice to get another one.”
