Twenty20 International Format
Final
Pakistan v England
Melbourne Cricket Ground
Melbourne, Australia
Sunday, 13 November 2022
England will be looking to add another trophy to their cabinet when they come up against Pakistan in the
T20 World Cup final at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Sunday, November 13.
The English are the current champions of the ODI format, having won the 2019 Cricket World Cup after beating New Zealand in a tense final at Lord's.
Brendon McCullum's side managed to hold off the challenge of hosts Australia to finish runners-up in Group 1 behind the Black Caps, with all three teams ending on seven points after five matches.

Their clash with the Aussies was rained out, while weather had also affected the game against Ireland, who won on the Duckworth–Lewis–Stern method.
However, England finished strongly with victories over New Zealand and Sri Lanka to book a semi-final date with India at the Adelaide Oval on Thursday.
Chris Jordan took some stick with the ball but was still the pick of the English bowlers with figures of 3/43 in his four overs as the Indians posted 168/6.
In reply, England cruised to a 10-wicket victory with 24 balls to spare, thanks to an unbeaten 80 from Jos Buttler and 86 from Alex Hales.
Buttler praised the character of the team to recover from the setback against Ireland by producing outstanding performances to put them in a position to win the T20 World Cup for a second time.
"[The Ireland game] feels a long time ago. The character we've shown to get through the tournament since then, and put in our best performance today, has been amazing," the England skipper said.
"We came here excited, it was a really good feeling when we came in. A group effort from 1 to 11. We always want to start as fast as we can and aggressive. Adil Rashid was down at No. 11 today, and that gives us the freedom to come out aggressive, that depth.
"Hales was tough to bowl at today, he used the dimensions of the ground, and we complement each other perfectly. He was a brilliant partner today. Special praise to Chris Jordan for coming in today, not having played so far, and he ran into Hardik playing fantastically at the death, but I thought he handled that really well."
