Viktor Hovland will be looking to stamp his name in the history books of
The Players Championship when he tees off at TPC Sawgrass.
The 24-year-old is hoping to become the first Norwegian to win this tournament and he is among the favourites to clinch this year's trophy.
Hovland is considered to be among the best golfers in the world at the moment and he is currently placed third on the Official World Golf Rankings.

The Oslo-born golfer announced himself to the world by setting a PGA Tour record for most consecutive rounds in the 60s with 19 lasting into the second round of the 2019 CJ Cup in South Korea.
Hovland then won the Puerto Rico Open in 2020 and he became the first Norwegian to win on the PGA Tour as secured a one-stroke victory over Josh Teater.
The Oklahoma-born star picked up his second and third PGA Tour wins when he won the 2020 and 2021 Mayakoba Golf Classic - establishing himself as one of the top golfers in the world.
Hovland has already tasted success this year having won the European Tour's Slync.io Dubai Desert Classic in January and the victory elevated him to third place on the Official World Golf Rankings.

“This is pretty wild. I didn’t really think this was possible going in today,” said Hovland after winning the 2022 Slync.io Dubai Desert Classic.
“I knew I had to shoot a really low number but a lot of things had to go my way and I’m thankful that they did.
"I was fuming after the three-putt on 15 and thought that was it and I knew I just had to try to finish off well and get a nice position for the week,” he continued.
“I rolled a really long one on 16 and then on 17 and, hey, we got a shot.”
Jack Nicklaus is the most successful golfer in the history of The Players Championship having won the tournament a record three times.
