Orlando Magic will look to pull off a trick victory over the Los Angeles Clippers in a
2020-21 NBA Regular Season game at the Amway Center in Orlando on the morning of 30 January 2021, with tip-off at 03:00 CAT.
The Magic have gone off the boil after a fine start to the season, with the demands of the campaign beginning to catch up with their roster and forcing coach Steve Clifford to find new tactics and pathways to success.
"It's a difficult season for all kinds of reasons that are out of our control," said Clifford. "All we can do is make sure we have a handle on the elements we can control. That's what we are striving for, and things will get better once we have those processes down."
Orlando small forward Evan Fournier says his team needs to get back to what worked well for them early in the 2020-21 season: "Obviously we have to play the same brand of basketball that we did during the first weeks and not mess up easy things," said the Frenchman.

Clippers star man Kawhi Leonard has grown more as a leader this year. He's talking more with his teammates, passing the ball better, and just being a better communicator overall. However, he's still a quiet guy at heart: "It's just who I am," Leonard said. "I'm not a rah-rah guy."
He added: "Just trying to be a better basketball player. I'll let the outside analyse or criticise my game. Just trying to go out there and win."
In head-to-head terms, Magic and the Clippers have met in 61 Regular Season games since 1989-90. Los Angeles have claimed 32 wins compared to 29 for Magic.
The teams met in two Regular Season games in 2019-20, with the Clippers winning both. Los Angeles' latest victory in the rivalry was 112-97 in January 2020 with 31 points from Kawhi Leonard.
