Real Madrid and FC Barcelona will continue their race for this season's La Liga title on match-day 32.

Madrid are set to travel to Barcelona where they are scheduled to face Espanyol at the RCDE Stadium on June 28.

The Whites moved to the top of the league standings after securing a comfortable 2-0 win over Real Mallorca at home on June 24.

They are now undefeated in their last four matches in La Liga having recorded four successive victories in the competition.

Madrid recorded a victory over Real Sociedad in their last away game and they will be hoping to make it two successive wins against Espanyol on the road.

However, Madrid are on sitting at the top of the log due to their superior head-to-head record as they are level on points with second-placed FC Barcelona.

Barcelona, who are the defending champions, will be in action on June 27 as they expected to face off with Celta Vigo at the Abanca-Balaídos.

Barca will be looking to maintain their unbeaten run in the league after securing a narrow 1-0 win over Atheltic Bilbao at home on June 23.

Quique Setien, the Barcelona manager, says his troops need to improve ahead of their clash with Celta Vigo.

“It’s not been easy and we are missing something overall, a bit of spark," Setien said.

"Our opponents have a lot to do with this because they are sticking together and leaving hardly any space and we’re finding it hard to open them up.

"But I think we’ll start to find it easier the more the season goes on.”

Barca's victory over Bilbao extended their unbeaten run to five matches in the competition having registered four victories and one draw.

They are also undefeated in their last two away matches having registered a victory and draw against Sevilla in their most recent game as the visitors.
