Lakers, Nuggets look to James & Jokic for inspiration

Los Angeles Lakers will look to their star player LeBron James when they take on Houston Rockets in their remaining NBA Western Conference semi-final matches. 
 
The Lakers are currently locked at 1-1 with Rockets with five crucial matches left in the seven-match series playoff.
 
James has been one of the most outstanding players this season having been named Player of the Month twice in the Western Conference during the regular season.

The 35-year-old American superstar, who has won three NBA championships, has registered the most assists (19) in the league thus far.
 
James holds the all-time record for playoffs points, is third in all-time points, and eighth in all-time assists.
 
The accomplished player says they know what to expect from the Rockets as he looks to lead the Lakers to the conference final. 
 
"I think it's the speed. They play with a lot of speed both offensively and defensively," James said.

"And you can watch it on film and you can see it on film; until you get out there and get a feel for it [you cannot comprehend it]. That's what we did tonight. We got a feel for their speed."
 
Meanwhile, Denver Nuggets will be hoping that their star player Nikola Jokic is in top form when they take on Los Angeles Clippers.
 
The Nuggets are currently trailing 2-1 against the Clippers in the Western Conference conference semi-finals with four matches left.

Jokic has been the Nuggets' best player this season having been named Player of the Week in the Western Conference during the regular season.
 
The 25-year-old Serbian star ranks among the top 10 on the all-time list of the NBA players with the most triple-doubles.
 
Jokic also holds the record for fastest triple-double (achieved in 14 minutes and 33 seconds).
 
The winner between Lakers and Rockets is expected to take one either Clippers or Nuggets in the conference final.
 
Milwaukee Bucks are currently trailing 3-1 against Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference semi-final tie with three games to go.
 
While Boston Celtics and the defending champions Toronto Raptors with the former leading 3-2 in their Eastern Conference semi-final tie with two matches left.
