Matt Fitzpatrick will be hoping to secure his first-ever win on the PGA Tour by clinching the
RBC Canadian Open this weekend.
The English star is among the best golfers in the world and he is currently ranked 17th on the Official World Golf Rankings.
Fitzpatrick has won seven professional tournaments including the DP World Tour Championship, Dubai (twice) and Omega European Masters (twice).

The Sheffield-born golfer competed at the 2016 Masters Tournament, finishing tied for the 7th place; in June, he won the 2016 Nordea Masters which elevated him to the 32nd spot in the world.
Fitzpatrick came close to winning the 2022 Wells Fargo Championship where he finished second with Max Homa winning the PGA tournament early last month.
Homa fired a 2-under-par 68 in the final round at the TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm course in Potomac, Maryland, to finish at 8-under, just ahead of Fitzpatrick.
Having missed the cut at the recent 2022 Memorial Tournament, Fitzpatrick will be looking to bring his A-game to the Canadian Open and win the event.
The 27-year-old, who won the 2013 Mark H. McCormack Medal, recently spoke about his ambition of winning on the PGA Tour.
“It’s a typical PGA. It’s long and tough and just not really my cup of tea," Fitzpatrick said at the 2022 PGA Championship.
“I think the one thing that I've learned more and more certainly over the last few years.
"Particularly with Billy (Foster) on the bag, is just to stay patient and the birdies will come basically.”
Leo Diegel is the most decorated golfer in the history of the Canadian Open having won it a record four times in 1924, 1925, 1928 and 1929.
