Liverpool FC and Manchester United are set to unleash their new signings at the Rajamangala National Stadium on July 12.
The Reds have been busy in the transfer market signing Darwin Nunez, Calvin Ramsey and Fabio Carvinho ahead of the 2022-23 season.
Nunez joined the Merseyside giants from SL Benfica, while Ramsey was signed from Aberdeen and Carvinho arrived at the club from Fulham.
The trio is set to feature in this high-profile
pre-season friendly match against United who have also been active in the transfer window.
The Red Devils have snapped up Tyrell Malacia from PSV Eindhoven and they are expected to make more signings during the current European summer transfer window.
United will come face to face with Nunez who reportedly snubbed the Red Devils and joined their arch-rivals in a big-money transfer (rumoured to be £65,000,000 - around R1,3 billion).
The Uruguay international will be looking to show what United missed out on when he faces the Red Devils in Thailand.
"I’m really happy and delighted to be here at Liverpool. It’s a massive club. It’s a pleasure to be here in Liverpool and I’m very happy to be a part of this great club," Nunez said.
“I’ve played against Liverpool and I’ve seen them in lots of games in the Champions League, and it’s my style of play. There are some great players here and I think it’s going to suit my style of play here.
“As I say, I’ve watched quite a lot and it’s a very big club and I hope I can give everything that I’ve got in order to help the team.”
This will be the 210th meeting between United and Liverpool since their maiden match on 12 October 1895.
United lead in the head-to-head record between the two teams, with 81 wins to Liverpool's 70; the remaining 58 matches have finished as draws.
