Dustin Johnson will be looking to clinch his first
Tour Championship title when he competes at the East Lake Golf Club this week (4-7 September).
The American star is coming off a successful month (August) in which he clinched The Northern Trust in Massachusetts, USA.
The win, at the first tournament of the 2020 FedEx Cup Playoffs, moved him into first place in the season-long points standings.
The 36-year-old golfer also returned to number one in the Official World Golf Ranking.

Johnson also won the 2020 Travelers Championship in June despite carding his career lowest round on the PGA Tour during the third round of the tournament. .
His nine-under par round of 61 put him within two strokes of the lead, held by Brendon Todd, entering the final round and Johnson won the tournament with a score of 19 under par.
The 2016 US Open winner then held the 54-hole lead at the 2020 PGA Championship in August.
Johnson went on to finish in a tie for second place, two strokes behind winner Collin Morikawa, who is also an American golfer.

The South Carolina-born golfer says he is looking forward to playing at the Tour Championship in Atlanta, Georgia.
“Obviously the goal was to be No. 1 going into East Lake, and I am still No. 1,” Johnson said on Yahoo Sports.
“I mean, I like my position. I feel like the game is in really good form right now. I’m really, really pleased with all aspects of the game.
"And I’m really looking forward to next week and a chance to win the FedExCup.”
The 2020 Tour Championship winner will get $15 million and the runner-up is set to receive $5 million.
