Following a gritty victory over Como last time out, AC Milan will restart their bid to challenge for the 2025/26 Serie A trophy when they face Lecce on home soil this weekend.
Milan showcased their bounce back ability in their latest Serie A assignment and recorded a 3-1 win over Como at Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia on Thursday night. While Marc-Oliver Kempf gave Como a 10th minute lead, Milan responded through goals by Christopher Nkunku shortly before the break which was followed by a second-half brace by Adrien Rabiot.
Sitting in second place, Milan are three points behind table toppers AC Milan and have won three and drawn two in their past five ties.
Lecce suffered a 1-0 loss to Inter Milan on Wednesday as they occupy 17th spot ahead of Serie A Matchday 21.
Overall, Lecce are on a run of three consecutive losses, a run of results that added to four defeats and one draw in their previous handful of league games.

Speaking after Milan’s win over Como, coach Max Allegri lauded his side’s resilience as a team that wants to win ‘at all costs’.
“Once we got back on level terms against a strong Como side that plays very well, and can be dangerous, I moved to three upfront, but after we turned it around and took the lead, I returned to how we started,” Allegri said.
“We had other chances too, and so did Como.
"This is a very resilient team and it wanted the result at all costs.”
