Following a tense win against Cagliari last time out, AC Milan will now turn their attention to Genoa at the San Siro later this week.
Milan will commence Serie A matchday 19 sitting in second spot on the log, after the claimed a 1-0 win against Cagliari at Unipol Domus last Friday.
Their latest victory forms part of a form run that consists of four wins and one draw in their last five league outings, while Genoa recorded three defeats, one draw and just the single win in their previous handful of ties.
Genoa’s 1-1 draw alongside Pisa on Saturday sees them linger in 17th position, just three points away from the relegation zone.

Speaking after AC Milan’s victory over Cagliari, coach Massimiliano Allegri reiterated that he does not expect perfection from his side and that the Italian giants will need to improve in their bid to win the league.
"We did not start well. For the first 35 minutes we were flat and Cagliari were attacking,” Allegri said.
“There is still a lot to improve. You need to understand the match and manage the moments well.
“Perfection does not exist."
