Manchester United will square off with their North West rivals Liverpool FC in an English Premier League match at the Old Trafford Stadium on Sunday.
The Red Devils thumped Fulham 3-0 win away in their previous league game which was played a fortnight ago.
The victory extended Red Devils' unbeaten run in the league to nine matches having recorded one draw and eight victories.
They are unbeaten in their last 10 home matches in the league having registered four draws and six wins at the Old Trafford Stadium.
United will be hoping to secure their third consecutive victory in the competition when they host Liverpool.
Meanwhile, Liverpool thrashed AFC Bournemouth 3-0 at home in their previous league match which was played two weeks ago.
The win extended Liverpool's unbeaten run in the league to five matches having registered three victories and two draws.
They are undefeated in their last two away matches in the league having recorded one victory and one draw on the road.
Liverpool will be looking to secure their second successive victory in the competition when they face United.
The last league meeting between United and Liverpool was on the 10th of March 2918.
Liverpool thrashed United 3-1 at the Anfield Stadium.
