Southampton FC will take on Tottenham Hotspur in an English
Premier League match on December 28.
This will be the 45th clash between the two teams in the Premier League era.
Tottenham have dominated this rivalry having recorded 24 wins compared to Southampton's 13 victories, while seven games ended in a draw.

The last meeting between the two teams in the league was on 21 April 2021 with Tottenham securing a 2-1 win over Southampton at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Southampton's last win over Tottenham was on 1 January 2020 as they claimed a 1-0 victory at their own venue, St Mary's Stadium.
Southampton were held to a 1-1 draw by Brighton and Hove Albion in their last home match in the league on December 4.
As a result, the Saints are undefeated in their last five matches at home having registered two victories and three draws.

"It's a survival fight, every day and every week with the limits that we have as a club," Ralph Hasenhuttl said recently as he celebrated three years as Southampton manager.
"We've made some good progress, even when we sell players we rebuild. We have to work like this and it was a change in my mind that took a little bit of time to understand.
"When I came here, I had targets of being as high as possible in the table, then you see how strong the opponents are and the potential that they have, like Newcastle United now, with far more potential now."
On the other hand, Tottenham were held to a 0-0 draw by Everton in their last away match in the league on November 7.
Therefore, Spurs have won just one of their last five matches on the road, that victory came against Newcastle United on October 17.
