On the other hand, Leipzig returned to winning ways in the league after defeating Mainz 4-1 at home in their last match.
Atitanic clash between Schalke 04 and Bayer Leverkusen will take place at the VELTINS Arena on Wednesday. Kick-off is at 19h30.
Schalke are winless in their last three league games having drawn 1-1 with Augsburg away in their previous match.
While Leverkusen saw their three-match unbeaten run in the league come to an end when they lost 2-1 to Eintracht Frankfurt away in their previous game.
