Athletic Bilbao will lock horns with Atletico Madrid in a
2019/20 Spanish La Liga match at San Mames Baria on March 15.
The Lions recorded a 4-1 win over Real Valladolid away in their previous league game which was played on March 8.
They are now undefeated in their last two league matches having recorded wins over Villarreal and Valladolid.
Bilbao snapped their four-match winless run at home in the competition when they defeated Villarreal in their last game at San Mames Barria.
Gaizka Garitano, the Bilbao manager, has praised his charges for being mentally strong and competitive.

“If we want to be a good side we can’t just play seriously when something important is at stake," Garitano said.
"This is how the team has to be. We exhausted ourselves on Thursday and we’ve won well today (against Valladolid). This is the team I like, mentally strong and competitive."
Meanwhile, Atletico drew 2-2 with Sevilla at home in their previous league game which was played on March 7.
The win extended the Mattress Makers' unbeaten run to five matches having registered three draws and two wins.
However, they are winless in their last four away league matches having recorded two defeats and two draws.
The last league meeting between Bilbao and Atletico was on 26 October 2019.
Atletico secured a 2-0 win over Bilbao at the Estadio Wanda Metropolitano.
