Quotes

“Our passing was laboured at the start and we weren't able to play our football but we didn't panic when Frosinone scored. The lads stayed calm, our quality came to the fore and we managed to turn it around," Napoli manager Rudi Garcia said after their clash with Frosinone.

“[Jens] Cajuste's penalty was unfortunate but I didn't take him off because of his performance – he was on a yellow. It was his first taste of Serie A and he needs time but he can play on [Frank] Anguissa's side or in the middle on [Stanislav] Lobotka's patch.

“We need to get our rotation right. We did that a bit today but we'll need to do more. I can't ask my midfielders to play 50 matches. We must be good at managing our energy levels and adopting different tactical solutions so that we stay sharp."

Head-to-Head

Napoli secured a 2-1 win over Sassuolo away in their last meeting in Serie A which was on 17 February 2023 at the MAPEI Stadium.

The victory extended the Little Donkeys' unbeaten run against the Watermelon Peel to five matches in the Italian top flight.

Napoli have registered three wins and two draws during their unbeaten run.
