Atalanta BC will square off with AC Milan in an Italian
Serie A match at the Gewiss Stadium on August 21.
The Goddess claimed a convincing 2-0 win over UC Sampdoria in their previous league game which was played on August 13.
The win ended Atalanta's two-match winless run in this competition having recorded two consecutive defeats to Milan and Empoli FC.

Atalanta are winless in their last six home matches in Serie A having registered three draws and three defeats at the Gewiss Stadium.
Meanwhile, Milan defeated Udinese in a six-goal thriller as they won 4-2 at home in their previous league game which was played on August 14.

“What I certainly didn’t like was the fact that we conceded a goal shortly after the match had started. We need to start the games much better," Milan manager Stefano Pioli said after their win over Udinese.
"We conceded two goals from inactive balls, we made a mistaken change between the two centre backs but it was not the time to make it. On the corner we were inattentive. When we work well forward the defenders are also favoured.
"We have players with certain characteristics that can allow us to have a high line in defence. Sometimes we seem more intense with the high line rather than the low one. It’s a serious mistake we have to work on. Next Sunday’s opponent is top level, we will have to raise our performance.”
The last meeting between Atalanta and Milan in the league was on 15 May 2022.
Milan overcame Atalanta 2-0 in a match that was played at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, commonly known as San Siro.
