World No. 3 Cameron Young will be hoping for another strong performance at the RBC Heritage after continuing to impress this year.
The American has enjoyed a spectacular rise in the OGWR since claiming his maiden win on the PGA Tour at the Wyndham Championship in August 2025.
Young ended the year with another four top-10 finishes and has carried that consistency over into 2026 with a T7 at the Genesis Invitational, T3 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and victory at the Players Championship.
The 28-year-old put himself in the frame to win the Masters after sharing the lead with defending champion Rory McIlroy heading into the final round, but he bogeyed the 6th, 7th and 9th holes to finish two shots behind the Ulsterman in T3.
Young was paired with McIlroy in the fourth round and admitted the experience will only improve his game in such situations going forward.
"There is plenty to learn from him (McIlroy). At the same time, I would like to look back on this week more in the sense of I played great, well enough to win, and it just didn't quite fall my way this time," Young said.
"If you go through the back nine I pretty much had a birdie chance on every hole and didn't make any. That's how it goes sometimes."
