Dustin Johnson will be keen to successfully defend his
Masters Tournament title when he competes at Augusta National Golf Club.
The American star is the number one ranked golfer in the world having won two major championships thus far in his successful career.
Johnson won the 2016 U.S Open at Oakmont Country Club with a 4-under-par score of 276 and it was his maiden golf major title.
The man nicknamed DJ then won the 2020 Masters Tournament with a record score of 268, 20-under-par.
DJ won the Masters Tournament was five strokes ahead of Im Sung-jae and Cameron Smith.
After laying up on the 15th, Johnson chipped to seven feet for his third shot and made the birdie putt to become the first player in Masters history to reach 20-under.
The South Carolina-born golfer then made par on the final three holes to set a new Masters scoring record.
As a result, Johnson broke the old mark of 18-under set by Tiger Woods in 1997 and Jordan Spieth in 2015.
Johnson has assessed the Augusta National Golf Club course ahead of this year's tournament as he looks to clinch his second title.
“It’s in really good shape. The golf course, I think, is right where they want it to be on a Monday," Johnson said.
“The conditions are quite a bit different. The weather, it had just rained a bunch in November. It was soft and played really long.
"This time, instead of it landing and stopping, it just might bounce a little bit.”
