With the top end of the Betway Big Easy Tour order of merit table heating up, Corey Sheppard will target a crucial point gain when he walks out at the Betway Big Easy Blu Label Unlimited Invitational 7 later this week.
The Englishman holds a lofty place on the order of merit table heading into the latest showpiece and sits in fifth position on 560.25 points after seven tournaments.
In what has been a positive season overall, Sheppard is ranked at 1846th in the world after participating in 25 events, while his best game week ranking stands at 1649th.
Sheppard’s best outing this year came at the Betway Big Easy Tour 8, where he claimed first position at the Benoni Lake Golf Club in September.
Other than his win at the Big Easy Tour 8, The 30-year-old recorded five separate top 10 finishes with his second-best performance this season coming at the Big Easy Tour 3 where he finished in 3rd place.
Sheppard will thus look to better his most recent outing, where he finished in 85th position at the Fortress Invitational earlier this month.
