As another Serie A team vying for a place in the UEFA Champions League, AC Milan will hope to overcome their losing streak when they take on Genoa on Sunday.
Currently sitting in fourth position on the log, Milan will go into their next tie on the back of an unfortunate 3-2 defeat against Atalanta during Matchday 36. Milan now share the same amount of points with fifth-placed AS Roma (67) with two games left to play as the race for European football heats up.
With regards to their form sheet, Milan recorded three defeats, one win and one draw in their previous handful of Serie A games.
Genoa will face Milan from the 14th position on the table, as they noted a 0-0 draw with Fiorentina last time out.
As they prepare for the season end, Genoa gathered 41 points from 36 matches, while they recorded two wins, two draws and one loss in each of their last handful of Serie A assignments.

With Milan’s loss to Atalanta in review, Massimiliano Allegri urged his side to forget the result and put immediate focus on UEFA Champions League qualification during their final matches of the campaign.
“There’s no point talking about what has happened so far, because we cannot change it,” Allegri said.
“All we can do is work well over the next week and be ready for a game against Genoa that will be decisive for our Champions League qualification.
