With the San Antonio Spurs and Minnesota Timberwolves readying themselves for a crucial Game six of the NBA Western Conference semi-final, the likes of Julius Randle and Victor Wembanyama have been leading the charge for their respective sides.
As it stands, the San Antonio Spurs lead 3-2 in the series, following their dominant 126-97 win over the Timberwolves in Game Five on Wednesday.
In the regular season, the Timberwolves booked their ticket into the Conference semis by finishing sixth with 49 wins and 33 losses. Spurs on the other hand, finished second behind the Oklahoma City Thunder with 62 wins and 20 defeats.
Regarding star players, Wembanyama is currently averaging a strong 25 points per game, including 11.5 rebounds, along with 3.1 assists and 3.1 blocks for the Spurs. Stephon Castle follows as another talisman, averaging 18.7 points, 6.1 assists in his previous 10.
For the Timberwolves, Randle is averaging 21.1 points per-game, along with 6.7 rebounds and five assists this season. Anthony Edwards, who scored 20 in the last game, averages 17 points in his last 10 outings.
